Abstract

A method of scalable lossless video coding implemented by a decoding device, comprising: parsing a first flag from a parameter set of a bitstream, wherein the first flag specifies whether information on a lossless layer is present in the bitstream, and the lossless layer is to obtain a lossless decoded picture or a lossless decoded picture block; in case that the first flag specifies information on a lossless layer is present in the bitstream, parsing the information on the lossless layer; obtaining the lossless decoded picture or the lossless decoded picture block, based on the information on the lossless layer.
