Abstract
Se proporciona un método para asignar probabilísticamente un tejido de origen a un ácido nucleico en un amuestra, por ejemplo, ADN en una muestra de fluido sin células obtenido de un sujeto humano. Se genera un perfil de hidroximetilación para el ADN de muestra y luego se compara a través de un conjunto de datos de referencia de vectores de perfil de hidroximetilación, donde cada vector de perfil de hidroximetilación identifica el perfil de hidroximetilación en un sitio de referencia específico, el gen específico de tejido asociado con el sitio de referencia, y el tejido con el cual el gen y el sitio de referencia se asocian. Un tejido de origen se puede asignar probabilísticamente al ácido nucleico de muestra utilizando los resultados de la comparación. También se proporcionan otros métodos de uso.
