Abstract
Se proporciona un método para llenar un silenciador con fibra de vidrio, para llenar un espacio interno entre una carcasa y un conducto interno con fibra de vidrio en un silenciador en donde un conducto interno poroso penetra a través de un par de orificios pasantes en la carcasa, el método incluye el desplazamiento del conducto interno en una dirección de penetración desde una posición normal donde el conducto interno está asegurado a la carcasa, insertar una porción auxiliar de la boquilla en el interior de la carcasa desde un orificio pasante abierto por el conducto interno que se está desplazando, suministrar fibra de vidrio en el interior de la carcasa desde una boquilla de una máquina de suministro de fibra de vidrio conectada a la porción auxiliar de la boquilla, y llenar el espacio interno entre la carcasa y el conducto interno con fibra de vidrio.
