Abstract
Un método para marcar un hidrocarburo de petróleo o un combustible líquido de origen biológico, donde el método comprende añadir al hidrocarburo de petróleo o combustible líquido de origen biológico al menos un compuesto que sea un éter de diarilo sustituido con R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8, R9 y R10, en donde R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8, R9 y R10 son independientemente hidrógeno, hidrocarbilo o hidrocarbiloxi; en donde cada compuesto que tiene la fórmula (I) está presente a un nivel de 0.01 ppm a 20 ppm.
