Abstract
La presente descripción proporciona una fibra bicomponente que incluye una primera región formada por un polímero de condensación y una segunda región formada por una mezcla de polietileno. La mezcla de polietileno incluye (i) un polímero a base de etileno que tiene una densidad de 0.920 g/cm3 a 0.970 g/cm3 y un índice de fusión, I2, según lo determinado por ASTM D1238 a 190 °C y 2.16 kg de 0.5 a 150 g/10 minutos; (ii) un polietileno injertado con anhídrido maleico; y (iii) un ácido de Brønsted-Lowry inorgánico que tiene un valor pKa de fuerza ácida a 25 °C de 1 a 6.5, en el que la mezcla de polietileno tiene un 0.03 a 0.5 por ciento en peso de anhídrido maleico injertado basado en el peso total de la mezcla de polietileno.
