Abstract
La invención se refiere a un método para el aislamiento de citisina a partir de material vegetal. El método de conformidad con la invención consiste en la extracción de la materia prima vegetal mediante un alcohol de bajo peso molecular, acidificado con un ácido mineral a un pH dentro de un intervalo de 1.5-3.5. Los extractos combinados en fase acuosa-alcohol se concentran mediante destilación al vacío hasta que se elimina el alcohol y, después de la filtración, se extraen con cloroformo, cloruro de metileno, acetato de butilo o butanol normal en una proporción de 1:1. El concentrado acuoso acidificado purificado a partir de sustancias fibrosas se alcaliniza a un pH de 9-12 con un hidróxido alcalino o hidróxido o de amonio, y el concentrado acuoso alcalino resultante se extrae al menos dos veces con cloroformo, cloruro de metileno, acetato de butilo o butano' normal en una proporción de concentrado: extractante de entre 1:5 y 1:10. Los extractos orgánicos combinados se evaporan hasta secar y a continuación se agrega acetona o acetato de etilo para obtener una suspensión que se deja cristalizar completamente a 5-10° C para posteriormente filtrar y secar. El producto aislado tiene una alta pureza y rendimiento.
