Abstract
Se proporciona un elemento de ajuste de presión interna que se unirá a una superficie externa de una carcasa, el elemento tiene una alta permeabilidad al aire incluso cuando es pequeño un diferencial de presión que puede generarse entre el interior y el exterior de una carcasa a la cual se encuentra unido el elemento de ajuste de presión interna e inhibe el daño al elemento y una reducción en la permeabilidad al aire del elemento debido a la presencia de tierra y lodo. El elemento de ajuste de presión interna incluye: una porción de filtro que incluye una capa de soporte de tipo red o malla y una primera y segunda membrana porosa de politetrafluoroetileno (PTFE, por sus siglas en inglés) laminadas en la capa de soporte de modo que la capa de soporte se interponga entre las mismas, la primera membrana porosa de PTFE está expuesta en una superficie de la porción de filtro, la segunda membrana porosa de PTFE está expuesta en otra superficie de la porción de filtro; y una porción adhesiva, formada en una superficie de la porción de filtro, para unir la porción de filtro a la superficie exterior de la carcasa. La primera membrana porosa de PTFE y la segunda membrana porosa de PTFE tienen un diámetro promedio de poro de 2.0 µm o más, la porción de filtro tiene un espesor de 140 µm o menos, y la porción de filtro tiene una densidad de 0.60 g/cm3 o menos.
