Abstract

La presente invención proporciona un método para producir un producto alimenticio recubierto que comprende los pasos de: aplicar capas de una primera formulación a un producto alimenticio para formar un producto alimenticio con una primera cobertura; hornear el producto alimenticio con una primera cobertura para formar un producto alimenticio con una primera cobertura horneada; aplicar capas de una segunda formulación al producto con una primera cobertura horneada para formar un producto alimenticio con una primera cobertura horneada y una segunda cobertura, y freír el producto alimenticio con una primera cobertura horneada y una segunda cobertura para formar un producto alimenticio con una primera cobertura horneada y una segunda cobertura frita. El producto obtenido con el presente método es crujiente pero suave al paladar y presenta una expansión de la segunda cobertura mayor al 35%.
