Abstract

Una máquina para procesar un producto semiprocesado continuo (W), que comprende una unidad de suministro (10), una unidad de procesamiento (21, 22, 23) y una unidad de corte terminal (30) más allá de la cual los segmentos procesados (M) del producto semiprocesado (W) son producibles, cuya anchura (L1, L2, L3) se correlaciona con la etapa de suministro. La unidad de suministro (10) es ajustable automáticamente en la etapa de suministro. La máquina además comprende activadores (21a, 22a, 23a) configurados para ajustar la posición de la unidad de procesamiento a lo largo de la dirección de suministro (A) del producto semiprocesado (W), y un sistema de control (40) configurado para leer instrucciones de entrada en relación con una serie de segmentos consecutivos a producirse, determinar la posición requerida de la unidad de procesamiento (21, 22, 23) en función de las instrucciones de entrada, y determinar la etapa de suministro requerida en función de las instrucciones de entrada.
