Abstract

La presente invención proporciona un método para obtener una población específica de células mesenquimales de cordón umbilical. Una composición que contiene esta población de células específicas es útil para preparar un medicamento que sirve para terapias celulares, tales como problemas del flujo de eyección cardiaco de pacientes con una fracción de eyección disminuida. Al mismo tiempo, esta subpoblación es útil para preparar un medicamento que sirve para aliviar el dolor y recuperar la funcionalidad del desgaste en articulaciones; para tratar problemas respiratorios, tales como lesiones pulmonares, lesiones pulmonares agudas, tales como el síndrome de distrés respiratorio agudo y para tratar lesiones cutáneas, tales como heridas crónicas y úlceras.
