Abstract
Un método para preparar metacrilato de metilo a partir de metacroleína y metanol. El método comprende poner en contacto una mezcla que comprende metacroleína, metanol y oxígeno con un catalizador heterogéneo que comprende un soporte y un metal noble, en donde la concentración de oxígeno a la salida del reactor es de 1 a 7.5 % en mol y en donde el pH a la salida del reactor es no mayor que 7.5.
