Abstract
Un primer fluido se dispersa en un segundo fluido para formar una emulsión de microgotas que tienen un tamaño de gota promedio y que tienen una distribución de tamaño de gota alrededor de dicho tamaño de gota promedio y debajo de un tamaño de gota máximo. Dichas microgotas perderán su disolvente para transformarse en microesferas que muestran una distribución de tamaño de partícula alrededor de un tamaño de partícula promedio y sustancialmente por debajo de un tamaño de partícula máximo permitido. Dichas microesferas se someten a un microfiltro que tiene una distribución de tamaño de poro relativamente estrecha alrededor de un tamaño de poro promedio, cuyo tamaño de poro promedio está entre dicho tamaño de partícula promedio y dicho tamaño de partícula máximo. Un filtrado de dicho microfiltro comprende una mayoría de dichas microesferas que está desprovisto sustancialmente de microesferas que tienen un tamaño de partícula que supera el tamaño de partícula máximo permitido.
