Abstract
Un procedimiento de fabricación de un producto alimentario deshidratado e inflado comprende la mezcla de un almidón alto en amilopectina e ingredientes alimentarios seleccionados para formar una masa; formar la masa en piezas; y exponer las piezas de masa a radiación de microondas a una presión inferior a la atmosférica para inflar y secar las piezas de masa, producir el producto alimentario deshidratado e inflado. Los ingredientes pueden incluir pasta de tomate, yogur, fruta o concentrado de jugo de fruta, puré de fruta, puré de verduras, concentrado de puré de verduras, café y sopa concentrada.
