Abstract

La capa de revestimiento puede tener un espesor de aproximadamente 0.0254 cm (0.010 pulgadas) o menos y forma un patrón que hace contacto con aproximadamente el 30% o menos de al menos una superficie interna de un sustrato. La capa de revestimiento también forma una pluralidad de cavidades selladas de moléculas de gas entre los sustratos. Puesto que hay una pequeña cantidad de moléculas de gas en cada cavidad, se reduce al mínimo la transferencia de calor por convección entre los sustratos, reduciendo al mínimo de esta manera la pérdida de calor a través de los productos laminados al ambiente circundante.
