Abstract
Se describe un motor de combustión interna de tipo de construcción de pistones alternativos que tiene un cilindro (2) con una culata del cilindro (1) y con una válvula de admisión (3) dispuesta en la culata del cilindro. Una línea de admisión (4) se conecta a la válvula de admisión (3), a través de la cual 5 el aire de combustión de la línea de admisión (5) puede alimentarse al cilindro (2). Además, se proporciona un acumulador de aire comprimido (6) que se conecta a la línea de admisión (4) por medio de una válvula controlable (7), en donde la línea de admisión (4) puede cerrarse, con respecto a su sección transversal de flujo pasante por medio de un elemento de cierre (8). La válvula (7) es controlable de tal manera que, sobre la base de una señal de control, el aire comprimido (9) se alimenta desde el 10 acumulador de aire comprimido (6) hacia una región de la línea de admisión directamente corriente arriba de la válvula de admisión (3), en donde el elemento de cierre (8) se dispone herméticamente en la culata del cilindro (1) y cierra la sección transversal de la línea de admisión (4). La válvula de admisión (3) se vuelve a abrir brevemente por medio de un elemento de accionamiento (24) durante la carrera de compresión, y durante dicha breve apertura, el aire comprimido (9) se alimenta desde el acumulador de aire comprimido (6) al cilindro (2), con el elemento de cierre (8) que se mantiene 15 en su posición cerrada. De acuerdo con un segundo aspecto, el acumulador de aire comprimido (6) también puede utilizarse para alimentar todo el aire de combustión al cilindro (2) a través de un depósito de admisión (25) directamente corriente arriba de la válvula de admisión (3).
