Abstract

Las modalidades de la presente tienen que ver con la conversion amigable con el ambiente de alcoholes simples en alcanos lineales o ramificados funcionarizados, por medio de catalisis integrada; los alcoholes primero se oxidan ya sea de forma quimica o enzimatica a los aldehidos o cetonas correspondientes, seguido por condensaciones de aldol usando un catalizador para dar los correspondientes enales o enonas; los enales o enonas de forma subsecuente y selectiva se hidrogenan usando un catalizador metalico heterogeneo reciclable, organocatalizador o una enzima para proporcionar alcanos funcionarizados lineales o ramificados con una funcionalidad aldehido, ceto- o alcohol; el proceso tambien es iterativo y puede extenderse adicionalmente repitiendo la catalisis integrada anterior para producir alcanos funcionarizados de cadena larga a partir de alcoholes simples.
