Abstract
Un método y sistema para inspeccionar y supervisar una instalación de ascensor (100) en donde un objeto volador autónomo (32) que tiene al menos un sensor (33) es enviado a la instalación del ascensor (100), se otorga acceso (48) al hueco del ascensor (40) de la instalación del ascensor al objeto volador autónomo (32). Subsecuentemente, el objeto volador autónomo (32) es colocado dentro del hueco del ascensor (40), y los datos recopilados por el sensor (33) del objeto volador autónomo (32) son enviados a un centro de servicio de ascensor remoto (20). Por consiguiente, el objeto volador autónomo (32) y sensor asociado (33) pueden utilizarse para supervisar e inspeccionar la instalación del ascensor (100) en una base temporal, por ejemplo por un número específico de horas, días o semanas. Además, una vez que el objeto volador autónomo (32) ha obtenido acceso al hueco del ascensor (40), la instalación del ascensor (100) puede reiniciar la operación normal manteniendo así el tiempo de inactividad a un mínimo. Más aún, después de completar sus tareas en una instalación de ascensor (100), el objeto volador autónomo (32) puede ser dirigido por el centro de servicio de ascensor remoto (20) para supervisar e inspeccionar otra instalación (200;300).
