Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para la producción fermentativa de L-metionina y/o sus derivados, que comprende las etapas de: i) cultivar un microorganismo optimizado para la producción fermentativa 5 de metionina en un medio de cultivo apropiado que comprende una fuente de carbono, una fuente de azufre y una fuente de nitrógeno para producir L-metionina; ii) recuperar la Lmetionina obtenida en la etapa i); iii) añadir un solvente de alcohol o acetonitrilo a la fracción que contiene metionina obtenida en la etapa ii) para precipitar la L10 metionina; y iv) recuperar L-metionina.
