Abstract
The present invention relates to a process for the continuous production of a semi-crystalline polycondensate granulate comprising the steps of: forming a polycondensate melt into granules; Separating the liquid cooling medium from the granulate in a first treatment space, the granulate having a temperature T GR after leaving the first treatment space; Crystallizing the granules in a second treatment space, characterized in that there are conditions of a fluidized bed in the second treatment space and the granules are heated in the second treatment space by supplying energy from the outside by means of a process gas.
