Abstract
Se describe un método para purificar polietileno recuperado, tal como un polietileno recuperado a partir de uso posconsumo o de uso posindustrial. El método implica obtener el polietileno recuperado y ponerlo en contacto a una temperatura y presión elevadas con un solvente fluido para producir un polietileno recuperado extraído. El polietileno recuperado extraído se disuelve en un solvente a una temperatura y presión elevadas para roducir una solución de polietileno, que se purifica a una temperatura y presión elevadas, mediante el contacto de la solución de polietileno con medio sólido para producir una solución de polietileno más pura. Un polietileno más puro se separa después de la solución de polietileno más pura.
