Abstract
Las modalidades incluyen un vehículo que comprende múltiples ruedas, donde cada rueda incluye un sensor de presión y un transceptor inalámbrico; un transceptor central configurado para obtener la presión del neumático y la información de intensidad de señal para cada uno de los transceptores inalámbricos; y un procesador acoplado de manera comunicativa al transceptor central y configurado para detectar el retiro de una de las ruedas en función de la información de intensidad de señal obtenida del transceptor inalámbrico incluida en la rueda retirada. Otras modalidades incluyen un método que comprende obtener la presión del neumático y la información de intensidad de señal de cada uno de los múltiples transceptores inalámbricos acoplados respectivamente a las múltiples ruedas incluidas en un vehículo; y detectar, usando uno o más procesadores, el retiro de una de las ruedas del vehículo en función de la información de intensidad de señal obtenida del transceptor inalámbrico incluido en la rueda retirada.
