Abstract
La presente invención proporciona un proceso para la preparación de eteno mediante deshidratación química de fase de vapor de una corriente de alimentación que comprende etanol y opcionalmente agua y/o etoxi etano, dicho proceso comprende contactar un catalizador de heteropoliácido soportado seco en un reactor teniendo la corriente de alimentación una temperatura de alimentación de al menos 200°C; en donde antes de que el catalizador de heteropoliácido se contacte con la corriente de alimentación teniendo una temperatura de alimentación de al menos 200°C, el proceso es iniciado al: (i) secar un catalizador de heteropoliácido soportado en un reactor bajo una corriente de gas inerte que tiene una temperatura de alimentación desde arriba de 100°C a 200°C; y (ii) contactar el catalizador de heteropoliácido soportado seco con una corriente de vapor que contiene etanol que tiene una temperatura de alimentación desde arriba de 100°C hasta 160°C.
