Abstract

Se divulga en la presente un método para alimentar dosis bajas de algas al ganado para incrementar el nivel de ácidos grasos poliinsaturados de Omega 3 que incluyen ácido descosahexanoico (DHA) y ácido eicosapentanoico (EPA) en ambientes comerciales de alimentación de ganado; el método para incrementar el nivel de ácido grasos de Omega 3 en el ganado que comprende alimentar al ganado con entre aproximadamente 0.02 y 0.36 y 0.36 kilogramos de algas por día.
