Abstract

Se describe un procedimiento para amplificar y detectar microorganismos, tales como especies de Listeria. El procedimiento utiliza medios de enriquecimiento de emparejamiento genético y detección basada en PCR. El medio de enriquecimiento es un medio gastado que se produce usando un microorganismo modificado que contiene una pluralidad de mutaciones en un gen seleccionado, de tal manera que el microorganismo modificado no contiene la signatura de PCR. Por lo tanto, la PCR solo detecta el microorganismo de interés amplificado, no el microorganismo modificado. Se describen procedimientos a modo de ejemplo y kits para la amplificación y detección de especies de Listeria.
