Abstract
La presente invención se refiere un método para controlar la distribución de ramificación de cadena corta (SCB) de una resina de polietileno de etilen-buteno (EB) que es preparada en un proceso de polimerización de fase de gas usando un tipo específico de catalizador Ziegler Natta de magnesio-titanio. El método permite al nivel de ramificación de cadena corta ser incrementado en la fracción de bajo peso molecular de la resina incrementando el tiempo de residencia de la polimerización. Los polímeros que son producidos de conformidad con esta invención, pueden ser útiles para la preparación de películas fundidas y películas sopladas, especialmente para aplicaciones de película estirada.
