Abstract

Se proporciona un acero inoxidable ferrítico que tiene una excelente resistencia al debilitamiento térmico, una excelente resistencia a la oxidación, y una particularmente excelente resistencia al debilitamiento a altas temperaturas. El acero inoxidable ferrítico contiene, en términos de % por masa, C: 0.020% o menos, Si: 3.0% o menos, Mn: 2.0% o menos, P: 0.040% o menos, S: 0.030% o menos, Cr: 10.0% hasta 20.0%, N: 0.020% o menos, Nb: 0.005% hasta 0.15%, Al: 0.20% hasta 3.0%, Ti: 5 x (C + N)% hasta 0.50%, Cu: 0.55% hasta 1.60%, B: 0.0002% hasta 0.0050%, Ni: 0.05% hasta 1.0%, O: 0.0030% o menos, y el equilibrio es Fe e impurezas inevitables, en donde Al/o = 100, donde en 5 x (C + N), C y N respectivamente representan un contenido de carbono y un contenido de nitrógeno (% por masa), y en Al/O, Al y O respectivamente representan un contenido de aluminio y un contenido de oxígeno (% por masa).
