Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con un promotor que tiene la secuencia de ácido nucleico de la SEC ID NO: 02 o la SEC ID NO: 03 que es un promotor/mejorador temprano inmediato principal de CMV humano (hCMV-MIE) con la mutación puntual C a G en la posición -41 y/o -179 con relación al sitio de inicio de transcripción. Este nuevo promotor es especialmente útil para la producción de polipéptidos a gran escala, ya que muestra un silenciamiento del promotor reducido y una producción mejorada del polipéptido.
