Abstract
De acuerdo con una realización de la presente invención, la invención comprende un sistema y método continuos de saturación de una preforma de material compuesto estructural, que toma como una entrada unas estructuras de material compuesto estructural formado previamente con un núcleo de espuma estructural; desplaza estas estructuras de material compuesto utilizando dispositivos de transporte (106, 107) a través de un sistema de humedecimiento (101), que puede comprender pulverizadores, cepillos o un dado o dados, u otro medio de humedecimiento; pasa la estructura de material compuesto humedecida a través de un sistema de curado (102), que puede usar luz ultravioleta, calor, un agente de curado u otro método de curado; y produce una estructura de material compuesto estructural curado completada, tal como una viga o un panel para su uso en cualquier estructura, según desee el usuario. El sistema y método de la invención está adaptado para ensamblar múltiples preformas de material compuesto antes de la saturación y el curado, de modo que las estructuras de material compuesto, tal como los paneles de pared, se puedan ensamblar, humedecer y curar.
