Abstract

El aparato para el tratamiento de líquidos comprende al menos dos cámaras, que son las cámaras primera y segunda a través de las que puede fluir un fluido. Las dos cámaras están separadas por al menos una boquilla estranguladora que tiene una entrada en la primera cámara y una salida en la segunda cámara. La boquilla estranguladora comprende una sección convergente en su entrada, una sección de garganta, una etapa orientada hacia atrás inmediatamente tras la sección de garganta, y una sección de salida en su salida, en la que la sección de salida es divergente con respecto a la etapa. Pueden incluirse boquillas de mezclado construidas de manera similar en el aparato. El aparato es especialmente útil en procesos que requieren que se arrastre un gas en un fluido, de modo que el gas está en forma de burbujas muy pequeñas que no tienden a coalescer ni vaporizarse instantáneamente tal como en la disolución de oro y otros metales preciosos de una mena y en la eliminación del arsénico de una mena.
