Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a composiciones y estructura de película adecuadas para la producción de sello térmico. La estructura de película flexible sellable con calor incluye: una capa (A) que comprende una mezcla que comprende desde 35 hasta 80 porciento en peso de la capa (A) o un plastómero o elastómero a base de propileno ("PBPE") y desde 20 hasta 65 porciento en peso de la capa (A) de un polietileno de baja densidad que tiene una densidad en el intervalo desde 0.915 g/cm3 hasta 0.935 g/cm3, en donde la mezcla tiene un índice de fusión (como se determina de conformidad con el ASTM D-1238 (a 190°C/2.16 1(g) una capa (B), adyacente a la capa (A) , que comprende un polímero a base de poliolefina, en donde el polímero o mezcla de polímero la cual constituye la capa (B) fluye más fácilmente que la mezcla de la capa (A) bajo condiciones propuestas para elaborar un sello duro con la estructura de la película; y una capa más externa (C) que comprende un material que tiene un punto de fusión mayor de 140°C; en donde la relación del espesor de la capa (B) al espesor de la capa (A) es 3:1 o mayor. La estructura de película flexible sellable con calor se usa para hacer un contendor flexible que tiene uno o más sellos térmicos. El sello térmico puede ser un sello térmico frágil, un sello térmico duro, o una combinación de sellos térmicos frágiles y sellos térmicos duros dependiendo de las condiciones del sellado.
