Abstract
Un sistema de impresión 3D que emplea un método de impresión AM para imprimir un producto usando una pluralidad de materiales, cada uno de los cuales está contenido en su respectiva cápsula. Las cápsulas se pueden insertar y quitar en sus respectivos porta cápsulas, cada uno de los cuales incluye un dispositivo de calor para ajustar la temperatura del material, y sujetarla y liberarla en una de las pluralidades de estaciones. Una herramienta recoge las cápsulas individuales de y las deposita en sus estaciones y mantiene a las cápsulas individuales para imprimir el producto usando un aparato de extrusión telescópico. Una memoria almacena los datos que identifican a la cápsula, un procesador proporciona las coordenadas de posición para posicionar la herramienta y el controlador mueve la herramienta a las coordenadas de posición. Los porta cápsulas incluyen sistemas de calentamiento para controlar el comportamiento reológico de los materiales con base en algoritmos ejecutados por el procesador.
