Abstract

La invención es concerniente con un método de pintura para pintar, en una instalación de pintura, un componente (1) que tiene un borde de componente (17) y en particular para pintar un componente de carrocería de vehículo motorizado que tiene un borde de carácter, que comprende las siguientes etapas: a) transportar el componente (1) en dirección del transportador (2) a través de la instalación de pintura por medio de un transportador; b) subdividir la superficie del componente (1) a ser pintada a módulos de pintura de superficie que yacen uno detrás del otro en dirección del transportador (2); c) pintar los módulos de pintura individuales de la superficie del componente uno después del otro utilizando un robot de pintura de múltiples ejes que tiene un atomizador; d) el robot de pintura guía el atomizador, dentro de un módulo de pintura en cada caso, a lo largo de una ruta de pintura (5, 11) y a través de la superficie del componente del módulo de pintura y e) en donde la ruta de pintura (5, 11) tiene por lo menos una sección de ruta (9) que discurre transversal al borde del componente (17). Se sugiere que, dentro del módulo de pintura, la ruta de pintura (5, 11) comprende al menos una sección de ruta (18, 19) que corre sustancialmente paralela al borde del componente (17).
