Abstract

La parrilla de la presente invención proporciona varias zonas de calentamiento dentro de una dirección de adelante hacia atrás de cada placa de cocción. Cada zona de cocción tiene un elemento de calentamiento asociado con la misma. Los elementos de calentamiento pueden ser controlados de forma independiente, de modo que cada una de las zonas de calentamiento pueda ser operada a una temperatura diferente si es necesario. Un controlador puede monitorear y ajustar la salida de calor de cada elemento con una sonda de temperatura que mida la temperatura de la superficie de la placa de parrilla. Uno o más de los elementos de calentamiento puede ser un quemador de gas. Elementos de calentamiento eléctricos también pueden ser usados.
