Abstract
Se describe un aparato novedoso y método para mezclar combustible y aire en un sistema de combustión de turbina de gas. El mezclador ayuda a mezclar el combustible y aire mientras que es capaz de incrementar de manera selectiva el flujo de combustible a una capa de cizalla de una flama de piloto a fin de reducir emisiones contaminantes. El mezclador dirige un flujo de aire radialmente hacia dentro en el sistema de combustión e incluye dos juegos de inyectores de combustible dentro de cada álabe orientado radialmente. Una primera pluralidad de inyectores de combustible operan independientes de una segunda pluralidad de inyectores de combustible y la segunda pluralidad de inyectores de combustible son posicionados para modular de manera selectiva el flujo de combustible a la capa de cizalla de la flama de piloto resultante.
