Abstract

La presente invención se refiere generalmente a composiciones útiles en procesos de adsorción y reactivos que comprenden un polvo de adsorbente, tal como una zeolita y un aglutinante mezclado para formar un aglomerado que tiene una porosidad de 0.30 = ?p = 0.42 y una difusividad de poro de N2 de Dp = 3.5 x 10-6 m2/s y en donde el diámetro medio de partícula del polvo de zeolita cristalina es de 10 µm o menos; el diámetro medio de partícula del aglutinante es de 0.10 dA o menos y la concentración de aglutinante es de 10% o menos expresada en una base en peso seco. La presente invención se refiere además a procesos para adsorber o separar componentes de una mezcla de fluidos con las composiciones antes mencionadas.
