Abstract

Se calcula un valor de índice para clasificar unas gafas (1) con respecto a la protección contra el peligro de los UV; dicho valor de índice está basado en el valor de transmisión de UV integrado a través de las gafas (1) y el valor de reflexión de UV integrado relacionado a una cara posterior (1b) de las gafas (1); así, el valor de índice tiene en cuenta las condiciones de uso reales en la que la exposición del ojo a los UV es debida, o bien a la transmisión (T) a través de las gafas (1) o la reflexión (R) sobre la cara posterior (1b) de las gafas (1); los valores de índice respectivos obtenidos para un conjunto de gafas (1) permiten una fácil ordenación de las gafas con respecto a la eficiencia de protección a los UV.
