Abstract
La invención se refiere a un método para el tratamiento de un cáustico gastado o agotado que contiene sulfuro a través de la conversión química de los sulfuros, en el que el método se compone de los siguientes pasos: introducción del cáustico gastado en una cámara (18) de reacción que se compone de al menos un convertidor (22) de potencia acústico y un elemento (20) de cavitación, el tratamiento del cáustico gastado con ultrasonido desde el al menos un convertidor (22) de potencia acústico, la alimentación de una mezcla de gas que contiene ozono a la cámara de reacción y la distribución de la mezcla de gas que contiene ozono en el cáustico gastado utilizando el elemento (20) de cavitación, en el que el cáustico gastado que contiene sulfuro se convierte con la mezcla de gas que contiene ozono, formando compuestos de azufre inorgánico, que no contienen sulfuro.
