Abstract

Se provee un método de reciclaje y descontaminación de lodo de barrenado de desecho a base de aceite y cortes contaminados con lodo de barrenado de desecho a base de aceite; también se provee una instalación para realizar el método; el método incluye remover los sólidos gruesos del lodo, romper la emulsión, y separar la fase hidrofóbica de la fase acuosa y la fase sólida; los sólidos entonces pueden ser tratados por cualquiera o ambos de dos enfoques; un enfoque implica vaporizar todo el aceite residual y agua de los sólidos, y quemar el aceite vaporizado; otro enfoque implica vaporizar por lo menos parcialmente el aceite residual de los sólidos y recondensar el aceite.
