Abstract
La invención se refiere a un método y a un diseño para la fragmentación de un lote de coque crudo y caliente en un recipiente receptor con segmentos de una placa movibles, siendo el lote de coque transportado en el recipiente receptor de un vagón de transferencia de superficie plana hasta una torre de apagado, donde el lote de coque se enfría hasta temperatura ambiente utilizando los segmentos de la placa movibles de modo que la estructura del coque se distienda y se formen cavidades similares a huecos en el lote de coque compacto, y, debido a estas cavidades similares a huecos, una cantidad mayor de agua pueda penetrar en el interior del lote de coque durante el proceso de apagado subsecuente, y el tiempo de apagado reducido y el consumo menor de agua para apagar el coque hacen que la eficiencia del método sea más económica, la calidad del coque sea mayor y la carga de emisión para el medioambiente sea menor. La invención también se refiere a un diseño para aplicar este método. (Dibujo que se ha de publicar con el resumen: Fig. 1).
