Abstract

Un método para mejorar, en plantas, varios rasgos relacionados con el rendimiento de importancia económica. Más específicamente, un método para mejorar los rasgos relacionados con el rendimiento en plantas mediante la modulación de la expresión en una planta de un ácido nucleico que codifica un polipéptido O-FUT, o un polipéptido By-Pass (BPS), o un polipéptido SIZ1, o un polipéptido bZIP-S, o un polipéptido tipo SPA15. También, plantas que tienen expresión modulada de un ácido nucleico que codifica un polipéptido O-FUT, o un polipéptido By-Pass (BPS), o un polipéptido SIZ1, o un polipéptido bZIP-S, o un polipéptido tipo SPA15, en donde dichas plantas tienen mejores rasgos relacionados con el rendimiento, con respecto a las plantas de control. También, ácidos nucleicos que codifican polipéptidos O-FUT, o By-Pass (BPS), o SIZ1, o bZIP-S, o SPA15 desconocidos hasta el momento, y constructos que los comprenden, útiles para la realización de los métodos de la invención.
