Abstract
Un agente apuntalante de cerámica de alta resistencia, de peso ultraligero, preparado a partir de una mezcla de arcillas naturales, preferentemente arcilla de porcelana, caolín y/o arcilla de pedernal, arcilla de barro u otras arcillas naturales, que tienen un contenido de alúmina de entre aproximadamente 5.5% y aproximadamente 35%; el agente apuntalante tiene una gravedad específica aparente de aproximadamente 2.10 a aproximadamente 2.55 g/cm3, y una densidad aparente de aproximadamente 1.30 a aproximadamente 1.50 g/cm3; este agente apuntalante de peso ultraligero es útil en la fractura hidráulica de pozos de petróleo y gas, y tiene una mayor conductividad que la arena a presiones de hasta 562.45 kgf/cm2 (8,000 psi), medida por Stim-Lab después de 50 horas y 135°C (275°F) en arenisca de Ohio, en presencia de una solución acuosa desoxigenada al 2% deKCl.
