Abstract

Sposób wytwarzania lekkich proppantów ceramicznych z mieszaniny surowców polega na tym, że mieszaninę poddaje się granulowaniu mechanicznemu w granulatorze lub po przygotowaniu ceramicznej masy lejnej w suszarni rozpyłowej uzyskując granulat o rozmiarze granul 150 - 1700 µm (12 - 100 U.S. Mesh, ASTM E11 - 04, ISO 13503 - 2), po czym granulat wypala się i wypalony granulat poddaje się frakcjonowaniu. Mieszaninę surowców przygotowuje się z: illitowo-beidelitowo-kaolinitowych wysokoplastycznych glin serii poznańskiej w ilości od 10% do 40% wagowo; glin kaolinitowych w ilości od 10% do 45% wagowo; kaolinu w ilości od 20% do 40% wagowo; popiołu lotnego z węgla brunatnego spalanego w elektrowni w ilości od 10% do 35% wagowo; oraz do 10% wagowo dodatków uszlachetniających. Mieszaninę surowców miesza się i ujednolica w homogenizatorze, natomiast uzyskany granulat podaje się do suszarni fluidyzacyjnej, w której dosusza się go do wilgotności poniżej 3%. Wypalanie granulatu prowadzi się w piecu obrotowym w temperaturze od 1150°C do 1320°C w czasie od 120 do 600 min, uzyskując proppanty o zawartości Al2O3 od 18% do 32% wagowo, zawartości SiO2 od 40% do 76% wagowo, ciężarze właściwym od 2,15 Mg/m3 do 2,90 Mg/m3 i ciężarze objętościowym od 1,35 Mg/m3 do 1,70 Mg/m3, w zależności od czasu wypału.
