Abstract

De acuerdo con una modalidad, un método para cementación en una formación subterránea comprende: introducir una composición cementosa en la formación subterránea, en donde la composición cementosa comprende: cemento; agua; y micro-cristales de silicato de calcio hidratado (C-S-H), en donde una composición cementosa de prueba consiste esencialmente de: el cemento; el agua, y los micro-cristales de C-S-H, y en las mismas proporciones al igual que en la composición cementosa, desarrolla una resistencia a la compresión de al menos 8.3 MPa (1,200 psi) cuando se prueba a las 24 horas, una temperatura de 15.6°C (50°F), y una presión de 20.7 MPa (3,000 psi); y permitir el fraguado de la composición cementosa. De acuerdo con otra modalidad, los micro-cristales de C-S-H son partículas mesoscópicas, nanopartículas o combinaciones de las mismas, y en donde los micro-cristales de C-S-H están en una concentración en la variación entre aproximadamente 1% hasta aproximadamente 5% en peso del cemento.
