Abstract
Un método de cementación en una formación subterránea que comprende: la introducción de una composición de cemento en un pozo que penetra la formación subterránea, en el que al menos parte de la formación subterránea tiene una temperatura menor de o igual al punto de congelación de un líquido acuoso y en el que la composición de cemento comprende: (A) cemento, (B) agua y (C) una puzolana, en el que la composición de cemento presenta un calor de hidratación de menos de 50 BTU por libra y ello causa o permite que la composición de cemento fragüe en el pozo luego de la etapa de introducción. La puzolana tiene una concentración de óxido de calcio de menos de 15 % en peso de la puzolana y dicha puzolana puede tener una concentración de al menos 15 % en peso del cemento. Los hidratos de gas pueden encontrarse presentes en una parte del pozo o adyacentes a este.
