Abstract
De conformidad con una modalidad, una composición de cemento para utilizar en un pozo de gas o petróleo, la composición de cemento comprende: cemento; agua; y un polímero, en el cual el polímero: (i) comprende un monómero o monómeros con capacidad de formar un poliéster, y (ii) tiene la capacidad de proporcionar un tiempo de espesamiento de al menos 2 horas a temperatura de 204.4°C (400°F) y una presión mayor que aproximadamente 3.4 MPa (500 psi) para una composición de prueba que consiste esencialmente de: el cemento; el agua; y el polímero, y en las mismas proporciones que en la composición de cemento.
