Abstract
La presente invención se dirige a una instalación y a un método para tratar agua de lluvia para producir agua potable. Se puede lograr un aparato compacto y fácil de instalar como resultado de un método de higienización simple y aún altamente efectivo. El agua de lluvia se arrastra con un gas, y el agua de lluvia arrastrada se irradia con una luz ultravioleta (UV) para higienizar completamente el agua de lluvia. La luz Uv se utiliza durante la irradiación del agua arrastrada y también se utiliza para formar un bactericida gaseoso que se utiliza para arrastrar el agua de lluvia. Ninguna de las desventajas de los sistemas de la técnica anterior se aplica a cualquiera de los sistemas de tratamiento de agua de lluvia que utilizan este método. Todas las conexiones entre las partes componentes pueden estar ya proporcionadas en esta unidad de tratamiento de agua de lluvia, y consecuentemente tanto los costos de instalación como de mantenimiento se reducirán significativamente en comparación con los sistemas de tratamiento de agua de lluvia que se conocen de la técnica anterior.
