Abstract

Almohadillas de pañal absorbente compuestas de un primer material de base absorbente y un segundo material absorbente que consta de polvos de polímero súperabsorbentes se fabrican mediante una unidad (3) que comprende una banda transportadora (11) que porta el primer material absorbente a lo largo de una ruta de alimentación predeterminada (P) y un sistema de alimentación (24) por el cual los polvos de polímero súperabsorbentes son liberados en la ruta de alimentación (P); el sistema de alimentación (24) comprende un conducto fijo (27) con una salida (45) dirigida a la ruta de alimentación (P), y una válvula (34), situada a lo largo de un segmento intermedio del conducto (27), por el cual los polvos de polímero súperabsorbentes se despachan de forma intermitente y controlada; La válvula (34) comprende un disco giratorio (41), fijado transversalmente al conducto (27), con una región anular (51) que gira a través de un intersticio (43) en el conducto (27) y presenta al menos una ranura (42) delimitada longitudinalmente en la dirección de rotación del disco (41) mediante un borde delantero (52) y un borde trasero (53), la dimensión radial de la ranura (42) aumenta de forma progresiva, por lo menos a lo largo de una parte de la distancia desde el borde delantero (52) hacia el borde trasero (53).
