Abstract
Se describe un método y dispositivo para la extensión de ancho de banda de una señal de audio. Para la extensión de ancho de banda de una señal de audio, en un dispersor de señal, la señal de audio es dispersada temporalmente por un factor de dispersión >1. La señal de audio dispersada temporalmente es luego suministrada a un decimador para decimar la versión esparcida temporalmente por un factor de decimación que coincide con el factor de dispersión. La banda generada por esta operación de decimación es extraída y distorsionada y finalmente combinada con la señal de audio para obtener una señal de audio extendida en ancho de banda. Un vocoder de fase en la implementación de banco de filtros o implementación de transformación puede ser usada para la dispersión de señal.
