Abstract

La invención se refiere a un método para modificar la superficie de una membrana mediante tratamiento de plasma, en donde dicho método imparte propiedades de repelencia al agua e impermeabilidad a dicha membrana mientras que conserva la permeabilidad al vapor de agua y sus propiedades elásticas, que comprende, entre otras, una etapa de tratamiento del sustrato con un tratamiento de plasma de un compuesto precursor seleccionado entre un gas de hidrocarburo, un gas de fluorocarbono, mezclas de los mismos, un líquido fluorocarbonado, un sólido fluorocarbonado, el compuesto precursor que se selecciona de manera que su proporción de F/C es por lo menos de 2, seguido por una etapa de tratamiento del sustrato salido de la etapa precedente sobre la misma cara para un tratamiento por plasma de un gas fluorocarbonado, que se selecciona de tal manera que presenta una proporción de F/C de 2 o más. La invención se refiere también a las membranas obtenidas mediante este procedimiento.
