Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una composición de quitosan reticulable que comprende quitosan que tiene un grado de desacetilacicón entre 30% y 75%, en donde el quitosan es desacetilado en forma aleatoria, y un agente de reticulación, en donde la proporción molar del agente de reticulación al quitosan es de 0.2: 1 o menos con base en el número de grupos funcionales en el agente de reticulación y el número de grupos amino accesibles en el quitosan. La presente invención también proporciona un hidrogel de quitosan formado del mismo y usos del mismo.
